as an artist

I take garbage 

and turn it into

raw material

for beauty

 

I believe

God does the same

with our garbage

 

I want to spend

all that I am

loving the people

right in front of me

those I may not

fully understand

but hope to see

to exchange humanity

I don't pretend

to know what's best

but I'll work hard and

with God holding the rest​​​

out of our mess
